I posted this question under a different heading but no-one answered me so I'm trying again with a different subject heading.
Has anyone been given prednisolone and not been told that it weakens bones, increases the risk of osteoporosis and not been given advice how to deal with this side effect ? Does everyone take hydrocortisone ? Does anyone have ovararian cysts and have you been happy with your treatment ?
I'm asking these questions because I can't believe how bad my Drs have been in the past and I want to know how many of us have had negligent advice/treatment. I now have a slight decline in bone density because I was advised to change to prednisolone and nobody told me of the side-effects. In fact my current endo is quite horrified that I was switched to pred and kept on it for so long without being informed of the side effects and given a choice.
If others of you have been given wrong advice we need to do something about it.
