Sorry perhaps I didn't word that very well did I!  What I was trying to say was I prefer to deal with the illness at home if possible and luckily with my kids they do respond really well to the solu cortef injection and I rarely need to go to hospital with them.  Every child is different in this situation so yes by all means go to hospital if you feel the need.  I just don't with mine because it usually turns out to be a waste of time as they pick up so quickly once they have had the injection.
