re: re: For those who have had kids admitted to hospitals in crisis - A couple of questions? Jul. 23rd, 2007 2:19am
We usually inject our kids at home and then keep a very close eye on them. If they bounce back after the solu cortef then we don't go to hospital. If they are still vomiting then we go to hospital. We haven't been to hospital for ages because the solu cortef does the trick. I always try to avoid going there if we can. The hospital are wonderful don't get me wrong but there is no need for us to go and waste their time if we can sort the kids out at home ourselves. The last thing the kids want is to be hauled off to hospital when they are sick. They just want to be at home with Mum and Dad. I guess it depends on how your kids react to the solu cortef and whether that is enough to get them through.
