re: re: Travel overseas to countries like Bali, anyone done with CAH kids?
Jul. 23rd, 2007   2:09am

Hi Lisa

We are going to Bali with our two CAH kids in September.  I have letters from our endocrinologist explaining what all the medication is for (including the needles and solu cortef) and my husband and I are able to inject the solu cortef if necessary.

We will be taking heaps of medication with us just in case.  My kids don't get sick all that often so we are hoping everything will be fine.

HBF have provided full travel insurance for my children with an extra charge for the CAH.  It cost a bit more but it's worth having.

I will email you after the trip and let you know how we went.

Jane
