changing meds to Dexamethasone
Feb. 12th, 2007   10:48pm

Hi

I have a 16yr old son who is currently on Cortisone and florinef in the morning and pred and florinef in the evening.

His last blood test appears to show that meds are not lasting him through the day and his Dr is talking about changing his meds to Dexamethasone.

I have been reading the message boards and a little about Dex,and i am really concerned about the side effects of Dex.

Can anyone help me to understand this medication a bit better, and also what questions i should be asking his Dr -endo.

Thanks

Lisa B
