re: osteoporosis + CAH
Nov. 19th, 2005   8:35am

Hi Liz,

I am a 29 yr old lady, and I have CAH. Sure I have been told about the fears of osteoperosis during my life, however I have had the fortunate experience of not being able to BREAK any bones when both an active child and sporty teenager. And even now I am older I still fair better than most in the bone strength depatment. I do remember having many Bone age tests as a youngster tho.

I hope this has been of some assistance and yes it is a real statement that they can be linked. To much medication can make the bones brittle I was led to believe.
