re: Medication effects on having children Mar. 27th, 2005 9:57pm
Dear Andrew,
I gave you some information about me previously. Having changed to Dexamethasone from Prednisolone after my last pregnancy we were not sure how things would go for pregnancy next time round but it seems that if someone has good control and a regular regime of their medication that the actual medication used may not make that much of a difference. We are currently pregnant with our second child (early days) and so therefore have fallen pregnant on both Pred and Dex without significant problems (with CAH). I thought this may boost your confidence in own success. The main thing seems to be having good control, being regular and consistent with medication and then the body will do the rest as it is meant to.
If you have any questions, as I have said before, you can email, or I will be at the Symposium in Melbourne this year with my husband and little girl (who is almost 1 year old, I can't believe how the time has flown).
