I have CAH and have broken my left arm three times. Once when I was 6 years old and the other two times as an adult (playing soccer!!) I have also broken my toe.
When I broke the bones I didn't know I had CAH so I didn't know at the time whether I was different to anyone else experiencing an injury. I did have a longer than normal recovery time ( which my endo in retrospect said was typical of a person with CAH) and I had a lot of fatigue associated with these majorly stressful events. If it happened now I would take 3 times my amount of medicine (dexemethasone) or if it was very stressful, take an injection. (as per my endo's instructions).
