Hi Jane & others
The books I'm referring to is the book on C.A.H & dealing with emergency or stress situations where cortisol deficiency occurs from the Hormones and Me publications.
I belive Serono Australasia doesn't supply these books to the general public. These are free materials they provide to GP's in conjunction with their pharmaceutical sales (or something like that). My father is a retired nurse educator and he is able to access all of these materials.
I get a bulk order from Serono each year for the members of our support group (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Support Group Australia Inc). There are two ways you can get a hold of these books that I know of. Get your GP to arrange it or you can get them by subscribing to our support group ($15 per annum) or you can contact me directly and I can forward them on to you for $5 for the two books including postage.
You can contact me by email lindapowell@optusnet.com.au or send a chq to CAHSGA P O Box 1548, Traralgon Vic 3844 with a note that you want these two books and your forwarding postal address, or phone 03 9513 9255 and leave a message for myself (Linda) to contact you by phone.
Regards, Linda
