Hi all My name is Michelina and my daughter who is 5 has SWCAH, we live in Canberra and at school this week she complained of a headache since 9.30am, at 12.30pm she passed out for 5 minutes in which time her temp went to 39.5, abulance was called and she was sent to the main hospital. A friend asked if she was tested for blood sugar levels, she wasn't, her paediatrician has never mentioned hypoglycaemia being an issue with CAH in fact I'm learning more from internet and realising that I don't really know all that much about my daughter CAH. Is it common for SWCAH to have low sugar levels? Has this happened to someone else? By the way the hospital was unable to find anything wrong with her, but her headaches are persisting, her doc say nothing to worry about even though I have complained to him for a year that she has these headaches.
